A lasting solution for tooth loss that restores natural function and aesthetics

Dental implants are a modern, lasting solution for tooth loss. Whether the cause is injury, gum disease, or other factors, an implant makes it possible to restore chewing, speech, and a smile that looks natural.

The most common candidates are people who have lost one or more teeth, and where examination and X-rays confirm a stable foundation for placement.

What are dental implants?

A dental implant is a titanium structure placed in the jaw. During the healing period, osseointegration occurs — a stable fusion of the implant with the bone. Then an abutment (connector) is placed, and finally a crown or other prosthetic restoration that restores aesthetics and function.

The dental implant placement process (steps)

Time per step is indicative and depends on your diagnostics.

  1. Consultation and planning — 30–60 min (examination + treatment agreement)
  2. CT scan (or equivalent diagnostics) — Often the same day
  3. Implant placement — approx. 60–120 min (local anaesthesia, depends on the case)
  4. Healing / osseointegration — usually several months
  5. Crown / restoration — fabrication and placement usually 1–3 weeks after the healing phase

Systems: ISOMED and NEODENT

ISOMED and NEODENT are systems chosen based on indication and the prosthetic plan.

ISOMED

Focus on biocompatibility and stable bone integration.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know before placement

In most cases placement is done under local anaesthesia, so you do not feel pain during the procedure. Mild discomfort may follow, usually relieved with treatment recommended by the dentist.

Implants are a long-term solution: with good oral hygiene and regular check-ups they can last for many years. Exact longevity depends on biology, the prosthetic plan, and maintenance.

Usually people missing one or more teeth where a stable bone foundation can be ensured. Bone grafting is sometimes needed; assessment is made after examination and X-rays.

After placement comes a healing phase with osseointegration (bone integration). When that is complete, a crown or other restoration is fitted, followed by check-ups and a hygiene plan.

Placement is a standard, widely used procedure, but as with any intervention there is individual risk. That is why diagnostics and following instructions and a treatment plan tailored to your condition matter.
